Bihar BCECEB Senior Resident Eligibility Criteria 2024
40% of Senior Resident/Tutor positions will be allocated to candidates from the Bihar State Health Service cadre, while another 40% will be reserved for doctors who have completed their postgraduate degree course (under Residency Scheme) from medical colleges within the state. The remaining 20% of positions will be filled by doctors who have obtained their postgraduate degree (under residency scheme) from recognized institutions outside the state. The minimum educational requirement for Senior Resident/Tutor positions is a postgraduate degree in the respective subject. In the event of a shortage of qualified candidates, those with a diploma will also be considered, with their qualifications being equivalent to a postgraduate degree, although they will have a lower position in the merit list. Additionally, as per the teacher eligibility qualifications set by the Indian Medical Council, candidates with equivalent postgraduate degrees will also be considered eligible for selection.
